MusicMagician Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MusicMagician ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

MusicMagician does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us.

The App operates primarily on your device. All files you create, import, or manage (audio files, MIDI files, documents, images) are stored locally on your device within the App's sandbox.

2. DATA PROCESSING

Certain features require communication with a user-configured processing server:

• Track Separation: Audio files are sent to your server for AI-powered stem separation.
• MIDI Conversion: Audio files are sent to your server for MIDI conversion.
• Sheet Music Generation: MIDI files are sent to your server for PDF transcription.
• Audio Download: Download requests are processed through your server.

Important: The processing server is configured by you. We do not operate, control, or have access to any server you connect to. The data transmitted between the App and your server stays within your network. We do not receive, store, or have access to any of this data.

3. LOCAL DATA STORAGE

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Audio and MIDI files
• Generated PDF sheet music
• Documents and spreadsheets
• App preferences (language setting, server URL)
• No data is stored in the cloud by the App

4. WI-FI FILE TRANSFER

The App includes a built-in web server for file transfer over your local Wi-Fi network. This server:

• Only operates when you explicitly start it
• Is only accessible on your local network
• Does not transmit data over the internet
• Stops when you close the transfer view or the App

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES — ADVERTISING

MusicMagician displays banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC.

Google AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA — Identifier for Advertisers)
• IP address (used to determine approximate location at the country or city level)
• Device information (model, operating system version, screen size)
• App usage data (app interactions relevant to ad serving)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

If you have enabled Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and declined tracking, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads and will not access your IDFA.

We do not have access to the data collected by Google AdMob. For details on how Google collects and uses data, please review:

Apart from Google AdMob, MusicMagician does not integrate any other third-party analytics, tracking, or crash reporting services.

6. MICROPHONE AND MEDIA ACCESS

The App may request access to your device's file system to import audio files. The App does not access your microphone, camera, contacts, location, or any other device sensors.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

MusicMagician does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.

8. DATA SECURITY

Since all data remains on your device and your own server, data security is maintained by your device's built-in protections (device passcode, encryption) and your server's security configuration.

9. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

All App data is stored on your device. You can delete any file at any time through the App's file manager. Uninstalling the App removes all associated data from your device.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
