GPS Tracker+ Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 1, 2025
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on the GPS Tracker app.
Location Data
What location data is this app collecting, for what purposes, and how do we use it?
All location data will be saved privately first, either locally or on a remote server, for the purpose of tracking where you have been, unless you want to share your location with your friends, which will ask you for permission. You can instantly enable/disable this permission by one click on the app.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
No, we don't share anything with any third parties. You can only share your location data with your friends under your permission.
Where will this information be stored?
- Locally within the app sandbox.
- Remote SQL server if you login with authentication.
Other Technical Basics
- If you enable notifications, we must store a token to send them. We never use notifications for marketing.
- If you use OAuth (e.g., Google/Facebook) to login, we must store a token of your account, but not email or password. The token is only used for the next time you open the app, we never use it for other purposes.
- If you upload files to this app, we store it in the sandbox document area, which is safe on iOS level, not accessible to other apps.
- If you import files from album, we need access to your album and only import images, no videos, and we never write anything to your album.
Ads and Analytics
- GPS Tracker app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app.
- No personal data is used to target GPS Tracker’s ads. Each ad collects, and shares with its advertiser, only three numbers: total views, total taps, and total subscriptions from the ad.
